Welcome to the Seniors Golf Association, the only non-profit-making organisation for all senior golfers in the UK and elsewhere. On the following pages you will find details of our most popular tournaments, the SENIORS CLUB CLASSIC a tournament for teams of four, now celebrating its eleventh anniversary; the NATIONAL SENIORS PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP; if you haven't entered yet now is the time to do so. Plus GOLF TRAVEL ideas (take a look this year at ARIZONA and SEABROOK ISLAND for a couple of special offers for SGA friends), SENIORS OPENS near you; HEALTH ISSUES FOR SENIORS; and importantly, details of the POPPY APPEAL GOLF CLASSIC we organise for the ROYAL BRITISH LEGION. We invite you to join in.

National Seniors Club Classic

Teams of four take part in this, our popular inter-club matchplay knockout tournament. You can name two reserves as well and each club may enter more than one team. Early rounds are played on a regional basis to minimise travel and matches are played as singles matchplay. Tandridge (pictured) won the tournament in 2009 but for more photos of semi-finalists and finalists, go to the page marked "2009 Finals".

National Seniors Pairs Championship

Pairs matchplay knockout – our most popular tournament, played regionally to begin with to minimise travel. Our 2009 Final produced an unusual result ! Go to the page marked National Seniors Pairs Championship by clicking on the page link below or to the left, and see more photos on our page marked "2009 Finals".

Poppy Appeal Golf
The Royal British Legion is the most highly regarded charity in the UK. Play golf at your Club to help the work the RBL do to assist those who have served their country in the armed forces.

Seniors Opens
Over 5,000 senior golfers took advantage of the information on this page during 2009. We plan to list as many as we can for 2010 and this is a FREE service for Golf Clubs, so if you want your Club's details to appear, let us know. And then join in and enjoy a wonderful day out. You might even win !

Golf Travel

Thinking of going away on a golf trip somewhere exotic overseas? Well, we have a few suggestions – and don't forget that you can always send your comments and suggestions to be included on "Your Page" – where you get to have your say. Just email us. We also have some information on men's health problems that might be of interest to senior golfers.
